Solidarity and solitary
sound alike, yet worlds apart are they.
A common cause together one binds.
The other shares naught, alone it stands.
All for one and one for all, cries one.
While silence muzzles a lonely one.
One builds commUNITY with unity.
Other values own loves and safety.
One sticks its neck out for another.
Other lies low, cares not for another.
Let justice roll down like a river;
No time now for selfish solitaire.
The LORD thus desires and demands,
Asks nothing of us that HE did not.
