Storytelling was all pervasive.
Bards and minstrels, prophets too.
Traveling far and wide their thoughts,
Their wisdom and knowledge spreading.
God was feared or loved in those times.
Moral endings stories held.
Lifestyle corrections often came,
Changes and revolutions too.
Mankind’s minds were sharp and keen to grasp,
Mem’ries vivid storing much.
Once near ideal to wanting much.
Ain’t pathway of evolution!
Pre-harnessing electric power
Brains ran on electric power.
Who first knew of its mighty works?
I do not know, neither do you.
Thoughts, memories man credits to brain.
Claims imaginings are his own!
Every good thing from God we receive.
Imaginings are not exempt.
Stories today no boundaries value.
They run amok like this world’s god.
All power seen, and those unseen,
One day goodness of God proclaim!
